The first step in implementing the new campus master plan for the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs was the creation of the Summit Village housing for 600 students. The Village forms a series of quadrangles framed by dormitory, classroom and common spaces that provide a virtually self-contained living/learning community unique to Colorado higher education. Included in the complex are dining facilities, lounges, seminar rooms, and a conference center.
