The Town of Parker has imagined and built a new public park and plaza next to the AMD-designed Douglas County Library and across the street from the PACE Center at the corner of Mainstreet and North Pine Drive.

The park is a four-season destination and complement to this burgeoning cultural district. The Discovery Park and Plaza gracefully intertwines a large water feature and splash pad fountain, a 350 foot-long ice skating ribbon, and an outdoor band shell intended for all-season performances. Three new contemporary, yet timeless, pavilions support these programs.

The material palette is rich and durable, employing Endicott brick veneer, natural wood soffits, decorative and polished concrete, and glass. The park is also home to a newly commissioned public art project and opened for skaters in Fall 2016.
